At Top Dog our mission is to help canines and their "people" make the most of their time together, and enjoy a long, happy, healthy relationship.

WHAT WE DO

We teach you how to train your dog and build a life long bond with your "best friend". 

We do this in what ever fashion best meets YOUR needs. We offer group classes as well as individual consultations, either at our location, or in your home. We use only positive training methods and we guarantee results.

 

 

     

 

  TRAINING TIP OF THE DAY

Is your dog ignoring you during training sessions? Make sure that your dog gets the opportunity to release built up energy before your training session. Also, if you are just starting to train your dog, make sure that you begin in an environment with little or no distractions. After you have been working together for a while, you can gradually increase the distractions. A good exercise to get focus during training is to use the cue "watch me" and hold a treat next to your eye. When you get uninterrupted eye contact from your dog, give him/her the treat and lots of praise!
